Fixes for email not working on iPhone through Wi-Fi:

In case you want to access your email on the iPhone using the Wi-Fi, but it is not working, it becomes a problematic situation. When your iPhone is unable to receive or send emails over a Wi-Fi connection, you need to perform some troubleshooting. Troubleshoot email issues on iPhone: 

When you are unable to use email on your iPhone due to Wi-Fi issues, you need to verify the Wi-Fi connection, email server settings or reset your email. For basic troubleshooting to resolve the issue, you can follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Reboot your iPhone, simply by restarting. By restarting the devices, a lot of connectivity issues are resolved.

  • You can also restart the wireless router for proper signals.

  • You need to check for the internet connection and working of the router.

  • To check if your internet is working or not on iPhone by opening a new browser or navigating to any website.

Verify the Wi-Fi connection:

To verify the Wi-Fi connection details, you need to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Step1- You need to open the iPhone Settings app and tap the Wi-Fi option to open the Wi-Fi settings.

  • Step2- Check for the Wi-Fi option on our iPhone. It should be toggled to turn ON and check if the Wi-Fi connection is established or not.

  • Step3- Tap on the network name which you want to connect. Further, tap on Renew Lease for re-establishing the connection.

Verify the email settings:

For the verification of email settings, you need to perform the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to iPhone Settings app and then select the option of Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

  • Select the email account which is causing the issue.

  • Now, you need to verify if the correct email settings are there for the email. You must check for the mail server settings, both incoming and outgoing.

Delete and re-add the email account:

In some cases, the issue is resolved by deleting and re-adding the account. The steps for the same are:

  • To delete the email account, open iPhone Settings, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars. 

  • Choose your account and tap the delete account option.

  • After that, you need to return to the main menu and tap on the Add account option.

  • Add the account with proper credentials, and check if it is working or not.
